8 in 10 workers aged 60+ plan to work past age 65.

Among employed adults aged 18+, „61% of workers in their Forties, 59% of workers in their Fifties, and 82% of workers in their Sixties and older plan to work past age 65 or do not plan to retire. In contrast, half of workers in their Twenties and Thirties expect to retire at age 65 or sooner,“ according to a 2015 survey by Transamerica.
