Over half (57.7%) of organizations in the professional, scientific and technical services sector with 50-99 employees reported problems with recruiting competent job applicants. Only 9.5% of larger organizations reported such problems.
Similarly, while 30.8% of smaller employers reported problems with employee performance, only 4.8% of larger employers reported this problem, according to a 2010 report from the Sloan Center on Aging and Work.
